Good to see you. I basically missed yesterday when I installed XP, then struggled to access to the internet because my service provider and firewall kept arguing with each other.

That's what I've heard from others ... although I did find one of my older program versions (PhotoFinish 3.1) that won't work anymore and from searching the net, it appears it won't. The company that made it is no longer in business. I have their newer version and it works, but I preferred the UIF of the older version.

I too lost a few programs. But 95/98/ME was such a nasty OS that the loss really was worth it. Have you tried XP's compatability functions? They did not help me.

Totally agree ... I think XP will be much better. Tried the compatability functions ... but like you, just didn't work. (That's also what my web searh revealed.)
I do have MS Office on now. (Needed a newer MS Windows for it.
