Getting to go out to the airport and see off our "grand-daughter" foreign exchange student as she returns home to Germany. The pictures of last night's "farewell" party and the pictures from the airport are already awaiting her arrival home tomorrow as I just finished e-mailing them.  Isn't technology wonderful sometimes! 
Of course seeing IWM above me didn't diminish the smile, either.  |

Oh, yeah, on the way home from the airport we noticed a car at the side of the Interstate that looked like our "real" grand-daughters. It was ... her car and her and her boyfriend in it. They'd just run out of gas a few minutes before we got there. We stopped ... picked them up ... and took them by his house to pick up a gas can. LOL ... we promised not to tell her folks.
Grandparents can still be the good guys!! |

My 13 year old son and my 11 year old niece were in the pool, when I asked my son if he had understood something I said..he replied.."mom men don't understand half of what women say"....my niece comes back with "that's because women use big words"
