We have a visitor in our quiet, out-of-the-way harbour, a quaint little boat called the USS Green Bay. She's an LPD, one of the new expeditionary vessels, all funny angles to spoof radar.

We helped our daughter celebrate her birthday yesterday by having supper at a local bar (down by the Illinois river) called "Captain Ron's." Good food. There were about 15 of us there. Had a nice time.

I just learned (again) that it's a bad idea to rile up and roughhouse with a Boxer before you get dressed.

I am learning to sign (ASL) on the fly as I got a new baby who is hearing impaired. Monday I get the baby with hemophillia, and by Friday a crack baby and 1 seriously on the spectrum.
