I pulled off a speech I was *dreading* making and I ended up doing a darn good job -- I had lots of compliments.

I spent some time saying thank you to our engineering group, who works hard and gets little recognition

We were supose to go to a Seafood Festival, but it rained

We packed a picknick and went to the lake

Been a lazy day for me

1. My daughter had the best time at the birthday party she attended today.

1) Enjoyed a beautiful sunny day, though still a bit cool.

2) After the sun went down, came in and paid bills.

1. I took today off of work to spend some time studying

2. I have the stove repairman coming today...after 6 months of the stove not working properly. Geez, I hope it's unrepairable and we get a new one.
