1. I detest parents who think the school day ends when they decide to come pick their kids up.

2. I don't care for parents who show up 15 minutes into a 25 minute lunch period and don't understand why we had their little darlin get school lunch just in case.

3. I wish I had parents who understood that sometimes when they refuse to allow their babies to be retained, they may be creating self esteem problems that are awfully difficult to live with, much less learn with.

Got woke up early.
Got a headache.
Gotta get ready for work in a bit.

1. I got my first paycheck today...I feel so official now at work.

2. I went out at lunch, expecting a terrible, terrible wait at the DMV...and walked right in to get my NH license. I feel so *permanent* now...another "Iowa" reminder gone.

3. I learned this afternoon that the office manager thought they'd agreed to pay me $1,000 *more* than the offer they'd made me...so that's what she's paying me. I basically got a $1K raise after working there ten days. :grin:

-did an acoustic set with the boys at the campus radio station..got good reviews from the call-in listeners...

-getting ready for a gig tonite...

-trying to figure out how to post audio on this damned site, it says it's too big, so i'm trying to figure out how to cut it down...anybody wanna help?

2) Was longing for the golf course this afternoon....just too beautiful to work!

3) Took care of some overdue things and am glad I did.
