I think I've bought about 8 items in the past 5 years...but some of them have been big ticket (for me) -- including my road bike. When it came to the road bike - I've somewhat regretted it. The bike had been ridden hard and I ended up doing a lot of repairs on it. It still needs a new replacement fork when I can see clear to spend the $$ (although I think we've altered the old one enough that it holds safely).

My purchase list: trombone, road bike, laptop for my mom, dishwasher adapter, book, DVD player, and two other purchases I don't remember. I also enjoy ogling eBay motors, although I have yet to buy a car there.

My latest purchase was a portable dishwasher adapter that links the sink to the dishwasher...I was having trouble finding my model offline.
