The best I can say is that I could not rule it out completely. If the right person came along and things got to that point I don't think I'd look at it any differently than if I met somebody anyplace else.

We used to (when our kids were small) have a couple of neices spend part of their summers with our daughters and us and it was always fun. We'd take them to ball games, the zoo, and Peoria's great museum and civic center.

Of course, now they're older, married and so that doesn't happen any more.

Kind of miss those days.

WYE offer to help a friend who was maybe having a short-term financial problem?

I have done that but think that in the future I would wait for them to ask me for the help. When I did help before, I gave them the $$$ as a birthday gift and I sort of felt like I may have embarrassed my friend by doing so.

I've done that, although I'm not sure I ever got what I thought was a real satisfactory response. Most of the responses tend to be pretty ambiguous. Like they agree with you, but, have so many things to consider, they may have to vote the other way.
