I can't believe I missed it ... that most auspicious day,
When all the clan did gather, with one special thing to say!
They chanted all in unison, to wish you but the best,
But DB missed the chorus, I guess I failed the test.

But not to be remorseful, I figured I jump right back,
And grab my humble keyboard, and start typing ratta-tat!
So it's with this act of fondness, that I pen to you this ode,
To tell you that I hope your day, was a great one to behold.

I hope that every wish and dream, like kindling in the fires,
burst into bright fullfillment quenching your desires.
And maybe if the Lord is willing, next year I won't be late,
But rather wish you all the best on your special date.
