CGT, you're so right... the years pass by far too quickly and then our babies have moved on. Watching a child sleep is one of God's gifts to us, I think. At the very least, it helps us to not clobber them while they're awake and being brats, haha.


Some simple pleasures...

The smell of a newly mowed lawn, mmmm

The sound of birds singing (but NOT mockingbirds in the middle of the night :bang: )

The laughter of a baby

Holding his hand

Climbing into bed at the end of the day, when the house is quiet and everyone else is safely in their beds.
