Update:

OK.....So we got cold feet on the house we were in contract on. It had some significant inspection issues, like 18" of water in the crawlspace (which flooded and BROKE the furnace), among other things. Also I've realized that 2 closets in an entire house are NOT enough for my family.

So....we're off and looking again. Mr. Osuche is seeing a place on Friday, and then next Friday 4/22 we're planning a bigger house hunting trip.
