So, when you're happy, (hooray!)
or sad, (aw!)
or frightened, (eek!)
or mad, (rats!)
or exited, (wow!)
or glad, (yay!)
an interjection starts the sentence right!
In-ter-jec-tions! Show excitement! Or emotion! And are generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point, or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.
In-terjections! Show excitement! Or emotion! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Ha-le-lu-jah! Yeah!
Darn! that's the end!
