Iowa was made for farming,
Fields of golden corn,
Azure skies so charming,
In the cold they look forelorn.

But alas while the season's cold,
And things seem most depressed,
We recall the summer gold,
And IAKG harvesting sans dress.

What a lovely picture it twas'
Of a lass both young and fair,
Born this day ... a bit ago,
To lend a cheerful aire!

So here's to the coming summer,
We toast it soon arrive,
And wish our lovely birthday girl,
Those warm and azure skies.
