Please permit me my two cents...
CP you asked whether or not you should be happy that Bush got re-elected. I think on some points you answered your own questions. As far as your investments go, as you said, Bush has had a good track record of expanding foriegn trade. Kerry hasn't. You also stated "for the past 4 years , China's economic is growing very well even the war is still going on. So I bet China's economic probably won't get worst for another 4 more years before 2008 Beijing Olympic." Again I fail to see why you would have felt concern over Bush's victory.
Next you mention that "Second reason is another 4 more years of WARS. I hate to see more innocent people die. There is no peace when Bush is still there."
My heart goes out to the innocent that have died also. But let's place the blame where it should lie. There was peace...right up until THE U.S. was ATTACKED. 3000+ INNOCENT people died that day. Innocent people from all walks of life and from countries all over the world. Chinese and Canadian included I do believe. In December of 1941, the U.S. was also the victim of a sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. An attack upon our nation, the same as 9/11. That event also plunged our country into war. The president happened to be a Democrat. Party affiliation makes NO difference in times such as that. Should Bush have stood by and done NOTHING, if only not to be considered some "war-monger" by Liberals??? As to Iraq, Kerry has repeatedly stated he was FOR the war in Iraq (and Afghanistan, I might add). Now as to the innocent people that have died...at whose hands did they die? In Iraq, Saddam Hussein slaughtered his OWN, INNOCENT peoples. This has stopped since he was removed from power. Innocent people are dying in Iraq...at the hands of militant insurgents, mostly identified as non-Iraqi and also as being connected with Al-Quaida. (Remember the 3000+ other innocent people that they killed??) Now I ask you, why should they NOT be stopped??? And with Kerry's incredible ability to flip his opinion on matters such as this, do you think it a good idea to change leadership in the MIDDLE OF A WAR??????? Have there been innocent casualties of war because the US forces have dropped a bomb off target, or by stray gunfire? Yes I'm sure there have been. My heart and the hearts of every other US soldier go out to them. But war is what it is, and there are some things worth fighting for. People die, but let it be for the right and just cause.
Another point on Bush being a war monger. During Bush's term, we have put American soldiers in harm's way in Iraq and Afghanistan. Liberals have decried this as his being only concerned about going to war with little to no concern over anything. Yet Clinton also went to war. Three times in fact. Somalia, (the former) Yugoslavia, and yes...even IRAQ. Clinton's administration ALSO firmly believed Saddam to have weapons of mass destruction, and took (albeit ineffective) means of force against Saddam for doing so. Feel free to count up the number of cruise missle attacks against Iraq that Clinton ordered. Need I even mention the ineffectiveness of the UN, it's sanctions, and repeated appeasement of Saddam???? Were weapons of mass destruction found? No. Did Saddam have ample time to move his caches to Syria or other country? YES. Aside from WMD, did Saddam have weapons he was not supposed to under UN mandate? Again, yes he did. According to the Center for Strategic and International Studies Iraq had "stockpiles of perhaps 650,000 tons of weapons....and as many as 250,000 tons remain unaccounted for". Hmmmm.
