Getting home again and remembering these past few days. Last Thursday, my wife and I and our kids went over to Indianapolis for the marriage of our youngest daughter. The trip and weather were great. The wedding was absolutely perfect. Family members from as far away as Florida and Texas were there and both families have rapidly become great friends. The church and wedding were beautiful and the homily was both personal and delightful. And the reception was marvelous. Great food and drink and a post reception dinner party that ran until 2:30 the next morning. WOW!!

And, on top of all that, before we left to come home, my kids through a birthday party for me (I turned 61 today. )

I guess if you see me with a grin, you can understand why.
