My 8 year old's logic~

him- "Mom, can you grow cherry trees in Florida?"


me- "No hon, they don't grow here."


Time passes, he's watching TV and I notice he has something in his mouth, cherry pits.

me- "Baby, be careful you don't wanna swallow those."

him- "Why? I did it before."

me- "You might grow a cherry tree in your tummy"

him- "Nah...Never happen, did it before and it didn't happen"

me- "You never know, maybe you have swallowed enough dirt now and it's sitting in your stomach."

him- "No worry, cherry trees don't grow in Florida."
