My own estimate for hitting 10k:

Nearly 1400 posts to date, over 8600 posts needed to hit 10k.

Using 2 posts per day estimate (which does include the long period I lurked before posting regularly, but there have been spans of time since where I've not posted for a few days at a time):

4,320 days required to hit 10k.
Or: 11 years, 10 months.
