Actually my lake saved me again.  We had pretty much the same forecast and it did jump up crazy all around me as little as 5 miles south to the high 80'sF/30C for a few hours before a big dip that produced some bad storms for others.  Being less than 500 feet from the lake it topped off at 64F for me and I couldn't be happier.

Our dry season has snuck up on us while we were away. You could survive here for almost 30 minutes outside, as opposed to the 5 you'd last in the wet.
