Today is an exceptionally wonderful one because there is NOTHING extraordinary about it. A year ago when my son's life was a question WAS an extraordinary day that we are hoping to never repeat. For him to tell me he feels as good today as he has ever felt, is something that was VERY much in doubt a year ago tonight. To say this last Thanksgiving held a special meaning for this family is an understatement. It has bee a life changing year for him in ways other than what this accident produced as well, so his comments of "… rebuilding my life with clearer goal and better direction.." is more than any of us expected to hear on this not so pleasant anniversary. YAA for us.
