you're not kidding...i was at the grocer's and there was a woman who had a small basket of items and the kind old man (cart laden) in front of her said...oh, here you go dear, you have just a couple things, you go before me. and all she said was, oh, good...i thought i was going to have to wait in this stupid line forever and i hate those damn self checkouts.
not only was she rude but she felt the need to curse!?!  shame on her. he shoulda changed his mind and made her wait. i wished i were in the same line 'cause i woulda objected out of sheer spite.
not saying thank you is one of my biggest pet peeves...my two year old has better manners than many of the adults i see.
