1. I'm having a lot of trouble getting into the mood for the holidays so today I decided to stop trying. I turned on my fave alt. rock music to finish baking by. I decided to go ahead and miss the people who are not with me. I am accepting that my kids got outside gifts (bikes,skateboards,scooters) and there is a 90% chance of rain Monday.

2. My oldest is helping me with the cookies and it's one of the few things he will tolerate me for at his age. I've made 6 kinds and I'm scrambling to find more to make so I can keep him near for even just a few more batches.

3. My new haircut was a mistake.
