1. I spoke to a very nice woman on the phone for about 15 minutes this afternoon. I have a resulting meeting Monday afternoon, which has me both excited and a little nervous.

2. I'm giving serious consideration to, when/if I catch the hamster, turning her in and finding one that a) lets you pick it up; b) doesn't scream (think your worst horror-flick nightmare); and c) has learned that you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

3. I'm sometimes just totally amazed at what has happened in the last six months of my life.
