1. I signed my son up for karate today, which will be good for him but which now makes me a soccer mom AND a karate mom.

2. I've got someone on my mind who is off being the great dad I know he is this weekend.

3. The kids and I have dinner plans tomorrow with the director of my show chorus--who also happens to have been elected my "big sister," and who has offered some vocal instruction tomorrow beforehand. I'm thrilled and self-conscious, all at once.
