Well, I certainly haven't instructed my hairdresser here not to let me cut my hair, no matter *how* much I beg her, and it doesn't bother me a bit to know I'm leaving, will have to find someone else to cut my hair...and, since I don't already have that arrangement with that new person, I won't be tempted at all to cut it all off.
