So far this morning, we've just had rain ... but, they're still predicting freezing rain later today and tonight. Hopefully, they'll be wrong and we'll dodge the bullet.

We've lost power twice here since I posted in the "Stop Look..........." thread about how Osuche's undies of choice today melted the ice! Now she's even knocking the power out! ;)

Hmmmmmmmmm, a day without power and being stranded with Osuche. I believe I'm going to go daydream for a bit. :p

The mountains are snow-covered...and it's still raining down here in the valley.

After our first winter storm (1 1/2inches of ice) I now get to cut up about 30 trees that fell!!(not joking) But I won't have to buy firewood for years

Been lucky so far and only lost power for a little over 3 hours this afternoon. The winds are starting to pick up though so that could bring more troubles.

Child was CRABBY......but is better now. We had a bit of icy rain early in the day and then it just rained the rest of the day.

Ended up yesterday wasn't too bad with mainly rain. Pretty well got rid of any remaining ice off the streets and parking lots. Now, we're hopeful for about a week of less threatening weather. (Actually, I think there's an hour left on the freezing rain warning, but I think it's stopped.)

Got some bad news Sunday, that the singer in my first real rock band died...this makes two now, the guitarist (an incredibly talented lefty that the world never got to hear how good he was, unfortunately) passed on a few years back...that leaves only half the band still kicking...
