I cycled (yes, on my bicycle) 550 miles between San Francisco and Los Angeles two weeks ago, and it was awesome. I even survived.

I've met the lady. I've watched her mind at work. I've witnessed her talents. :cool:

I'm drinking hot tea, and my toes are cold. I thought tea was supposed to warm you, head to toe.

I can think of a much better way to warm you from toes to head.

Get a box turtle (do they range that far north? I don't remember off teh top of my head). Box turtles love to eat slugs.

My kids in my class used to go pick slugs off a wall at school in the morning on their way to the computer lab to bring back and feed our red eared slider.

Two nights at Allerton Park lived up to our expectations. We had a great time there.

It's the beginning of July again.

I am so exhausted after yesterday. I was up for a total of 20 hours. Not sure that I am going to like interning at OSU. I get to be there from 5PM until midnight (or later) every Thursday and Friday...plus the drive home takes over an hour. I just feel totally drained :(

Have ya ever gone to get something outta ya freezer and found it was somewhat defrosted. Upon investigation you relaize the damn freezer has been unplugged for a week. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So now madly cooking meat & food that was not fully thawed to try to save something. Prolly lost a couple of hundred $ worth of food still

We had that happen. Only our deep freeze didn't get unplugged, it burned out.

We've gone through the freezer thing when one of the kids failed to get the door shut tight and we were gone. Fortunately, that's only happened I think once.
