Solution: Clear contacts and then sets of contacts in every color. That way you always have options.

I've worn glasses since I was 10 years old... In the past few years I've worn contacts on occasion, but the past two months since I broke my last glasses I've been wearing contacts only. Maybe it's time for green eyes... :D

What color are they currently? I always wanted a set of clear and a set of red. I have blue eyes, so I always kind of thought they might come out kind of purple looking and mess with people. Unfortunately, though I should wear glasses, I can't do the whole contact thing. I can't bring myself to touch my eye.

Our grandson had worked on The Spirit of Peoria cruise boat (a replica of an old paddle-wheeler) during the last few summers as he went to school. The two captains of the vessel were at his visitation last night and this morning they're going to take the family on a memorial cruise in honor of our grandson. To me, that's a very beautiful tribute to a very nice young man taken from us at a very early age.

I got my head shaved a year ago today!

Why did you shave your head?

I did it as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society! I raised over $500 for them.

Well, at least it went to a good cause. Just kind of surprising to hear a woman shaved her head. I know a few that grew their hair out long enough to donate to Locks of Love without losing all of it.

Fangtasia has done it as well!

I believe Lilith did th Locks of Love deal some years ago too.

One of these days I might. I kind of want to see if I can get my hair down to my ankles first so I can go as Cousin It for Halloween.
