I think the blow job you ordered is here.

HELLOOOOOOoooo Paul-10. :doorpeek:

Fangtasia 03-29-2010 04:39 AM

Specialist gave me another 4 weeks reduced hours, light duties for my ankle. Apparently the bone is bruised, a bit of debris floating around, fluid in it (explains swelling) and some ligaments torn....

I knew it wasnt right!!

Lord Snow 03-29-2010 08:45 AM

So they were looking at the wrong ankle? It's been you're left ankle this whole time?

AZRedHot 03-29-2010 10:30 AM

Monday morning: DO NOT WANT!

Lord Snow 03-29-2010 11:17 AM

I really hate these stupid half days at work on Mondays. Screws your whole day.

They have been looking at the left ankle lol

Xrays, Ultrasound...showed some damage but not the true story.......MRI and stress xrays showed it far more clearly.

It has the 4 weeks to heal enough for me to go back to work properly, if it doesn't, it could mean surgery *eeeek*

Neige 03-29-2010 01:42 PM

I'm making a lemon meringue pie. :)

Oldfart 03-29-2010 02:07 PM

Loaded with the zest of bush lemons, tart enough to punch the pucker through the back of your skull?

Neige 03-29-2010 02:21 PM

No zest, unfortunately, since my lemons had blue ink all over them. :(

And not quite that tart, Martha's recipe for lemon curd is a bit too sweet. Next time I'll add less sugar. :)

Lord Snow 03-29-2010 05:57 PM

I don't think that's the type of pie most guys would want from you, and it's not because of cooking skills.

The blue ink should have been food grade and other then maybe giving you a green lemon pie should have been fin to use.

Mrs OF and I flew from Darwin to Melbourne (Victoria, not Florida) today.

Lord Snow 03-30-2010 10:11 AM

I was going to go to work today, but decided to hit a deer and wreck my car instead. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep the venison.

Lilith 03-30-2010 10:39 AM

one of my babies is getting a new kidney today

Lord Snow 03-30-2010 11:26 AM

Very cool Lil. I'm sure these will last longer than the originals.

Lilith 03-30-2010 11:27 AM

Ha ha. Considering he's 9 and this is his second transplant, I sure hope so.

Glad to hear you are ok! Why couldn't you keep the meat?

Lord Snow 03-30-2010 02:54 PM

Didn't get it dressed in time. Once the blood settles for a while, which makes the meat rotten. My cousin (the one that isn't a punk) and I buried it since we couldn't use it. Damn shame to.

Neige 03-30-2010 03:19 PM

Damn. I keep saying I'm going to put a big knife in my car in case I ever hit a deer (or heck, any meat, lol).

Lord Snow 03-30-2010 06:16 PM

Big knife isn't much good, you need a skinning knife and another one for cutting the throat and getting through the thick skin. Plus you have to know what you're doing.

Neige 03-30-2010 09:03 PM

Learning enough to know what I'm doing is on my to-do list, too, hehe.

Oldfart 03-30-2010 10:30 PM

LS, be thankful you weren't on the bike when you hit the deer.

dicksbro 03-31-2010 05:43 AM

Gotta go! See everyone later.

Believe me, I am. I'd rather wreck a car that was technically already totaled (I have 3k in a 2k car) than my new Victory which was considerably more expensive. My Mom would have killed me if I wrecked the bike she bought me. Should have seen my father's face when I told him though....walked in the door and said "I have good news and bad news. Good news is I drove this car for a year before I wrecked it. Bad news is, I hit a deer."

AZRedHot 03-31-2010 10:41 PM

Windy night + Findlay Brown=a sweet melancholic evening

Fangtasia 03-31-2010 11:45 PM

Good advice. Along with that, it's good to re-read what you pasted before you post ... just to be sure. :(

Pita 04-02-2010 08:02 PM

This has been one of those months where it would be nice to run away and leave my cell phone at home!!

Fangtasia 04-02-2010 08:47 PM

I was watching my Angels today, as in the fish kind *L* and noticed something strange fluttering on a leaf, so over to investigate....1 pair have actually hatched eggs and have little wrigglers...OMG finally! After man many batches disappearing into the bellies i'd given up hope, but looks like they got it right, well so far any way *LOL*

Teeny tiny angels! I hope some make it, i'm dying to see what results from the pairing.

Lilith 04-02-2010 09:11 PM

wisteria smells like heaven

osuche 04-02-2010 09:31 PM

I'm having an unproductive day

Oldfart 04-02-2010 11:42 PM

The high temp here in Tasmania today was 16C mid-60sF and it's f-f-f-f-f-freezing for a poor oldfart.

dicksbro 04-03-2010 03:29 AM

We were 82F yesterday and it was WONDERFUL! :)

osuche 04-03-2010 10:26 AM

I drank a bottle and 1/3 of wine with a friend last night, and I'm going wine tasting today. I think I might be a wino.

dicksbro 04-03-2010 12:13 PM

Today, it's only 52F a little past noon. :(

I should have had some wine before I went out (antifreeze).

AZRedHot 04-03-2010 06:52 PM

Don't get so dazzled by the pretties at Anthropology that you pay no attention to how the hardware works...and how it's NOT going to work on your doors. :(
