I confess that it's been 5 months since I've been on Pixies. In the interim, I have gotten into mega good shape and I'm doing the SF to LA bike ride in June which will prove it. I am also separated from Mr Osuche, and that's going better than expected. In general, I am happy with my life right now.

I got fired today.

Thanks, guys! I'm not sure what the next step will be, but hopefully it will involve more work on my thesis. I know another head of department there wants me for his department, though not full time, so that might be an option I'll consider.

I got a wisdom tooth pulled out yesterday. I was extremely nervous, but it didn't hurt. Actually, my jaw is sore, but only from being so tense during the whole thing, lol.

My field trip last summer and my ongoing participation in an online learning group has garnered me an request to apply for a position in staff development hosted by a major university. Too bad I can't use my moderation experience here on my application :p

After a week at home, I'm back at Wilderness and I's apartment. It's good to be back. :)

I'm home at night this week, sans Hubby, as his job has him working 3rd shift till Friday. It's quiet here when the kiddos are in bed now! :(

I'm sure it won't be so quiet after the kids are asleep once he's off of third shifts. The highlight of my day was getting a hug from my niece. Yes it was one of those kinds of days, where no matter how hard you worked you seemed to be getting nowhere.
