Mercury was used to extract gold from crushed ore through that amalgum process, then the result was cooked to get the mercury out.

I have found a fun new-to-me way to pack! really! Those huge zip-lock bags that are huge enough to fit a closet full of clothes in and then ya suck the air out with a vacuum.

Vacuum packing is lovely!

Because my aunt and father are in Memphis, I got stuck having to scoop the litter boxes. Shh.....I'm switching litters in one of them as an experiment.......don't tell them.

I took a 3-hour nap today. It was heaven.

The Bronco Ride

When they stuck me on the bronco, I felt this awful dread,

I spent the majority of the afternoon watching a series on the History Channel about The Wehrmacht. Very interesting, albeit extremely disturbing, stuff.

When you can spend a couple solitude days in the woods but winter tent camping doesn't make it any more, you know you're getting old or spoiled (or both :shrug: ).

Due to some health issues I could care less about sex right now. Factor in some stress and ya, I'm a mess right now.

soda, sex is mainly in the mind, as you know. The rest of it's in the don't mind.

I'm so freaking sick of this back pain and not at all thrilled that he is making me go to a chiropractor on Thursday. :mad:

Hello. Been away for a bit. Stepson is living with us. In the space of 2 days, during October, his fiancee' cancelled their wedding plans, told him to leave, and the next day, he was down-sized right out of Hewlett Packard. He'd had enough of CA and is giving NM a shot. It's cramped a little in this small house, but we get by. Some days, I'd like to run away though. :nod: And, I have now lost 53 pounds total and it is STAYING off. Well, that's about all I've got to tell. Probably enough. :nod:
