I got into MIT, Rice, Ohio State, Case Western, Wright State, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and Wake Forest. I ended up with some scholarships, but Ohio State offered me the best financial package.

Um......well..... as he shrinks into a small ball.......... No offers from anybody but got accepted to St. Ambrose where they charged me about $8K per year (that was a lot back then).



Did you know what you wanted to study when you graduated high school?

I chose Chemical Engineering right out of high school...I knew I wanted to make money and have a marketable future. I really wish I would have chosen something else, though

You?

In theory I was going to be the next broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs (yeah, I know you're sick of hearing me talk about them). I got a couple of radio jobs in college, including the play by play announcer for the Quad Cities minor league baseball team but somehow it never panned out as I had planned.


When you were a kindergartener, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I don't have very many memories of my childhood...I am sure that if I went to a psychologist I'd be told that I blocked them out. I have no idea...my earlies memories are me at about 8 or 9.


Do you have a lot of childhood memories?

Everything from the time I was about five years old is crystal clear. That's not really a good thing at times. It wasn't all wiffle ball in the back yard.


When did you realize you were making the change into adulthood?

I've felt like an adult my entire life.

I got that feeling when my parents divoreced when I was 11. Not sure I've ever got the hang of it though..



Where would you go if somebody told you you had an hour to do whatever you wanted and you could take anybody with you?

I'd go hang gliding...and I'd do it on my own.


You?

I'd like to think I'd do something solely for myself but I know that isn't true. I'd more than likely find my mom and ask her if there was anything she had always wanted to do and then do all that I could to make that come to fruition.

Either that or I'd try to find Osuche and go on a 24 hour, no holds barred, bender.

Do you think physical fitness is an important criteria for someone you date?

To a certain extent. They don't have to be a workout junkie or anything but I probably wouldn't be attracted to someone who just let themselves go to pot.


Does the amount of education someone has figure into whether or not you would be interested in them romantically?

Yes, and no. The person needs to be intelligent and desire learning. They also have to hold down a job. :) Do they have to have a PhD? Nope.


You?

No, not really. I've never really been overly concerned about a ladies education level. As long as we can have good conversation I'm pretty content.
