Very sorry to hear of your loss, gg. Seems like these things happen and even when expected they're not expected and whether a person is close to the deceased or not, there's always a bit of the sense of loss, probably because it reveals a real part of our humanity that we don't fully understand and maybe wish wasn't the case.

Anyway, God bless you and your family!

Did you realize that today is the 355th day of the year 2018 … meaning we only have 10 more days in this year? Boy, does time fly!

Did you know that the English alphabet used to have only 24 letters. This was because an "I" was used for "J" and a "V" was used for "U". Found this is a new "OMG Facts" desktop calendar I got for Christmas. Fascinating stuff.

I didn't know that, DB. So, shovld we ivst vse them now? :D

Bye, now, I gotta run!

Glad you stopped by. Tell Mickey and Minnie and Clarabelle hello for us. :)

Looks like we've got a pretty nice week ahead of us here in the heartland.

An interesting fact I just read from my new "OMG Facts" desktop calendar is that our (US) President James Garfield could write Latin with one hand and Greek with the other at the same time. That to me is amazing.

I went to a mini-game convention yesterday, Brunswick Games Day in western Maryland. So many games...played:
Dinosaur Island (new game i own, and took with the intention of teaching/playing)
Tsuro
Exploding Kittens
Azul
Bears vs Babies
Codenames
Puerto Rico

maybe one or two others that I can't remember.
Loads of fun, and the weekend coming, I'm at Congress of Gamers, much more local to me.

DB; that little calendar of yours is interesting to say the least.

Yeah, like this morning when I turned the date and … TA DAH … I learned something I never knew before … or even knew to think about …

"On average, there are 178 sesame seeds on each McDonald's Big Mac bun."

See, you learn something new every day. :faint:
