Today's the day my wife gets the second tooth extracted. Hope this goes well and that it heals quickly. She's had a lot of discomfort these past two or three weeks. :(

Today, I get to go play a Mega-Civilization game ftf at GCOM's Game Days.

Heading over to Indianapolis today to visit our daughter and her family. Her little girl is celebrating her first communion this weekend and we want to be there for that. We'll be back tomorrow evening but it'll mean a day without DB here at Pixies since I'm not planning on taking my laptop with me. Try to hold down the fort. :)

Made it home safely yesterday evening around 4 or 5PM Off and on rain, heavy traffic and lots of winds made it a little less enjoyable drive than usual but we had no problems and made pretty good time. It was otherwise a beautiful day. Our grand-daughter looked (IMHO) beautiful for her first communion. We were so proud of her. Wonderful two days, that's for sure.

Today is my wife and my 58th MEETING ANNIVERSARY!! We've celebrated it from the day we met 58 years ago on a blind date. Next month will be out 55th Wedding Anniversary. :D

For me, these were to two best dates in my life with every other day we've been together a close second. :x:

Our one car (the one my wife uses), bit the dust yesterday. Guess we'll have to start looking for a replacement for her. :(

Hope you had a great time at the book festival. We went to a high school graduation party for a young man that my wife had in Before & After Care during his grade school years. Nice young man and a very nice family. Had a lot of fun.
