I think we're going to go see "Murder on the Orient Express" this morning. It's not the original but looks pretty good. Tomorrow then, we're going to watch a one-day showing of the original Humphrey Bogart movie, "Casablanca." Seen Casablanca many times but never on the "big screen." One of my favorite movies. :thumbs:

I fell into the tumblr pornado.

I was right on the movie. "Murder on the Orient Express" was very good. Followed the original storyline (I thought) very well and benefited from newer technology to enhance the visual presentation. Now, on to "CASABLANCA" this afternoon. :D

I didn't realize how fantastic seeing Casablanca on the big screen would be. I LOVED IT! IT WAS GREAT!

This evening, I'll be in an honor guard at our church for the deceased members of our fraternal order. It's an annual event followed by a dinner for members of the order and their spouses.

Got our new refrigerator delivered and installed yesterday. Lookin' good. :)

There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research. This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them. :nod:

I'm nearly there now! Well, except for the perky and erect parts. ;p

Went to see "The Star" yesterday (the Christmas story told from the perspective of the donkey that carried Mary to Bethlehem). Very well done! Animations were terrific and the story line was very true to the biblical one (except for the animals that were cleverly done and worked into the story. Great show for kids and grandkids!

May see the Justice League today ... not sure yet.

Too much suckage of late. A close friend of mine's mother died a couple of months ago. Then a fannish friend of mine died. Then a person in the local gaming community died. My wife's boyfriend is in the process of dying of cancer, heading downhill fairly rapidly at this point. On-line friend of mine's husband died last week. My girlfriend's father died yesterday. And my wife's other boyfriend's grandmother also died.

2017 can go fuck itself.

I hear you ... been a tough year in our neck of the woods this year, too. Some of it, I suspect, is getting older ... we notice more of our friends and relations reaching that time of life. As a little kid, I hardly remember anyone ever passing away. Now, it seems every week someone I know takes that step.

I've had my fingers in the pie all day ;)
