My AV today is a picture from the Civil War Reenactment yesterday showing some the union officers discussing their plans for the battle. It was a lot of fun watching the reenactment of the Battle of Bull Run. There was artillery, cavalry and infantry all involved. This was the first of what's planned to be an annual event.

Civil War re-enactment is a big, big, sub culture in the US. Excellent that they're doing an annual event. Got any other pics, DB?

Our Civil War is big in more than just the US. I understand it is a major study in most military academies around the world.

Of course it is. Warriors learn what fighting is about by studying the evolution of war.
