The motor is out of the ranchero. Now to start the rebuilding process.

How many times have you rebuilt that automobile, m'lord?

This will be the first time the motor has been taking out by me. I'm going to replace the oil pump, water pump, timing chain, reseal the whole motor from bottom to top, I have the heads at shop getting worked (hopefully it will be done soon). I'm even thinking about repainting the block while it's out.

That sounds a lot like work.

I think I got my laptop working again. I don't know what possessed it this last week, but thank goodness for restore disks and Time Machine.

It's well worth the work in my eyes. I'm sure if you found a beautiful classic guitar that needed a bit of tlc (rather than just a new set of strings) you'd go forward with a loving hand.

You are mistaken; I have enough trouble playing the guitar without having a problem instrument to contend with. :D

Must be a guy thing; I can't play a guitar w/o having had my hands all up inside it at some point :yikes:

I doubt you have any troubles playing guitar AZ.

I think there's a tinkering/fiddling gene on the Y chromosome. If there's a button, guys gotta press it. If it makes noise, they have to make it do the noise. Mr. AZRH cannot get into my car (the rare occasions when I'm driving) and not open the glove box, turn on the light, and fiddle with the radio.

And that is the illusion I strive to create. ;)

I made fudge. I plan to take it down with me when I visit my folks Tuesday.

The girl I'm seeing does the same thing. Trust me, she's all woman.
