Glad I got a shower, no hot water for doing dishes. :(

Tired of living here, need apartment.

Need to arrange a ride for daughter after track practice next week.

Bonus: kid in hallway needs to shut up!!!!!!!!

Most Honorable Son #2 may have asthma. Going to see an asthma and allergy specialist. His Mama-San is not so convinced yet.

I love people, especially ones who are so ridiculously transparent.

I am seriously considering attending a big (by our standards) food truck event on Thursday here. Sounds like a party in a box, literally.

1) Been up since 4am cause I have so much on my mind with work.

2) There's a very good chance I will have to travel to Japan next month on business, and I need to find a way to break it to my wife.

3) I am thinking about going to visit a Pixie friend in the Fall.

Hey rabbit, if you go to Japan could you buy me a traditionally made No'dachi? Should only be about 15-20k US..............

Oldfart 03-29-2011 10:16 PM

Why? It's a dog of a weapon, the Japanese version of the Buntline Special.

Lord Snow 03-30-2011 03:44 PM

You might be thinking of O"dachi Oldfart. The No"dachi generally have a 30-36 inch blade with a three hand grip. Nothing I can't handle. Plus traditionally made swords are made out of tamahagane steel which takes over 3 days to smelt. The sword itself takes months to make and is completely done by hand without any modern tools. I've done a lot of research into this.

I had a lot to do at work today and it was making me crazy.

My evening did not go as planned at all. Strike that. One thing did go as planned.

Looking forward to a road trip with my kiddo. Friday night through Saturday night is going to be a long day. Will be paying a visit to my ex's mom. I think it will be a nice visit though.

I had a really weird April Fool's Day. No one pranked me except life. Perhaps because I took part in several pranks on others.

Making a list of all the things I need to get done before my company get here later this month.

I am trying to decide if I want to make contact with someone who has put the word out they would like to speak to me about a job.

I planted 60 gladioli today.

I replanted some strawberry plants and some volunteer poppies that were on the wrong side of the wall.

Think I got a bit of a sunburn, but not bad.

1) I just arrived in Augusta, Georgia to take in Monday's practice round of The Masters. Golf just doesn't get better than this!

2) Went to the Atlanta Zoo today and saw my first panda bear.

3) I realized today just how much I miss living in the South.

Oldfart 04-03-2011 08:14 PM

The rabbit will rise again?

And the best part is you'll have the opportunity to go south again the end of June for a weekend with some exceptional people. .................. and I'll be there too. :D

So they volunteered for the south instead of the north? On another note....I happen to have some of that great aloe vera lotion stuff for sunburns :horny:

I spent several hours trying to fix a drawer on my wardrobe.

Turns out I need to shim one side of said drawer to make everything line up.

I didn't get a chance to wash the bike like I wanted because of said drawer.

Lilith 04-03-2011 09:39 PM

I shopped- for something for Aqua to eat ;) :hot:

I gardened- put in a watermelon plant, some bush cukes, lots of flowers including there pretty variegated double impatiens. They are probably the last I will add to the yard and garden this season.

I cooked- a lentil goulash for my veg head, a pot roast w/ all the trimmings for everyone else, and a to die for dessert. Brownies w/ homemade dulce de leche and toasted vanilla marshmallows.
