Getting my new iPod today. It's got nearly 3x the capacity of the old one, but is even slimmer. How DO they do that???
I love living in the future. |
I'll stick with my sony multimedia player AZ. Just as dependable, less in price, and the best part is I don't have to look at it while at work. (I work for a refurbishment company and we happen to handle IPDDs).

I was given an iPod nano, and I couldn’t agree more. The only limit I can see for these devices is the touch interface. If Apple makes the iPod any smaller, I’m likely to be unable to navigate it! |
I don't care for touch-screens, actually, so I hope they never change it on the iPod classic. I dig the click wheel. I read something recently that said that the iPod classic (music only) was probably going the way of the dodo. I hope not, but at least I've got mine before it's too late.

No. 3 son just got a new job that will almost double his salary and that'll reduce how far he has to drive to go to work.

I hope he's splitting the difference with you.

What's the matter? Don't you find typing with a tooth pick to be a great advancement or having to stick you finger in the pencil sharpener in order to get it to work half the time is what you don't like? Without a touch screen you would never get to have a phone that can do 832457346563565920257538 functions.......... except be a usable :fone:. You must not be considering how quickly it can make an hour go by when you are trying to find a phone number and every time you get near the screen it goes to take a nice picture of your shoes............ or give you the weather report for Lower Solbovia, ...two days ago. Have you forgotten how it keeps those pesky calls you don't want (and mostly the ones you do) from getting answered as any way you touch your 'touch unit' cause it to launch a 13 step function of editing the alarm settings for the next 2 weeks of your calendar as you attempt to pick it up? :wobbly: You must not be a good Alexander Graham Bell hater that believes tapping out a telegraph message is somehow superior to actually talking to someone. I bet you have that prehistoric thinking of considering what the tool can actually do that is useful to you, rather than embracing the adventure of frustration, adding more tasks to your daily life and joining in the mob mentality of "I want that" regardless of cost or honest usefulness. Boy, talk about backward thinking that is going to keep you out of the herd of latest and greatest consumers. :banghead: |

Realizing that just because I think I have something to say, doesn't mean anyone really cares to hear it.

Doesn't mean what you think you have to say doesn't need to be said.

I am watching a Led Zepplin concert and can see the whole entirity of Robert Plant's cock through his incredibly tight jeans.
|
Wouldn't that be Robert Plant's stamen?
|
Well his pistil was only half-cocked.

It's so bad when they go off half-cocked.
