Getting my new iPod today. It's got nearly 3x the capacity of the old one, but is even slimmer. How DO they do that???

I'll stick with my sony multimedia player AZ. Just as dependable, less in price, and the best part is I don't have to look at it while at work. (I work for a refurbishment company and we happen to handle IPDDs).

I was given an iPod nano, and I couldn’t agree more. The only limit I can see for these devices is the touch interface. If Apple makes the iPod any smaller, I’m likely to be unable to navigate it!

I don't care for touch-screens, actually, so I hope they never change it on the iPod classic. I dig the click wheel. I read something recently that said that the iPod classic (music only) was probably going the way of the dodo. I hope not, but at least I've got mine before it's too late.

No. 3 son just got a new job that will almost double his salary and that'll reduce how far he has to drive to go to work.

I hope he's splitting the difference with you.
