Pinky promise? :wish:

Good luck on the job, Lil!

I am officially beyond tired of this cold.

Lord Snow 01-21-2012 09:19 PM

I'll willingly warm you up AZ.

AZRedHot 01-21-2012 09:35 PM

I appreciate the offer, m'lord, but it's not the weather I'm complaining about, but the head cold that is making decapitation seem like a pleasant option. I wouldn't want to give you my cooties.

Good luck to you on getting the new job. I think the consistency you demonstrate in your plans for us should serve you well. :)

Then I believe a hot bath is in order.....need someone to wash your back?

gekkogecko 01-22-2012 11:22 AM

The snow forecast for yesterday around here did not matrerialize. Instead, we got about 3/4" of porous ice. I'm still slightly sore from shovelling it.

dicksbro 01-23-2012 03:23 AM

It's raining. :(

The snow we had is all pretty much washed away.

Just spent 2.5 days at the local Children's Hospital with my youngest (she's 4). She was diagnosed with Pneumonia...and since she couldn't seem to regulate her oxygen levels herself since her lungs weren't working, she had to be put on oxygen--she HATED the nasal canula. Lots of IV fluids later, and 2 days of O2 support and we're home. But, this morning, about 3am est, I had to have a couple of the nurses on the pediatric floor escort me down to the adult ER via wheelchair because I was in HELLA pain. I have a 3mm kidney stone on the move and it felt like my side was being ripped out. They gave me some very nice floaty pain meds and IV fluids and now it's just a waiting game.

I had a kidney stone once, felt like I had a knife buried in my lower back with someone constantly jiggling it. After I had established it wasn't Mrs OF, I visited Mr E.R. and he gave me some Morphine. Never seen or heard from again, the stone, not Mrs OF.

Gotta admit, kinda glad that ol' stone hasn't called back. :boink:

I feel a bit lazy this morning.

Yesterday was my 22nd anniversary with the bear I married. Now, for the 23rd year.

Lord Snow 01-27-2012 10:24 AM

A lizard and a bear? Must have made interesting children.
