Letsee...

Monday, an ex-g/f of mine died.
A family friend ended up in the ER with what was confirmed yesterday as bacterial meningitis.
My wife was vomiting most of the day.
And another friend of mine gave herself 2nd degree burns by spilling sugar syrup on her abdomen.

Today, I seem to be getting sick, possibly with what my wife had Monday.

Go, you.

I spent the day at the hospital with my friend. I think they are going to say it is MS. Her speech gets better when she is really tired. She says she can stop it better then. I'm worried and tired. Not a good combo in a bitch like me.

Oldfart 12-29-2011 09:07 PM

Does MS manifest that quickly?

It sounds also like a transient ischaemic episode. It's lasting a bit long, but it's a thought

dicksbro 12-30-2011 07:24 AM

My speech must get better when I'm tired. Someone told me, "When you get really tired and fall asleep, you sound so much better."

:(

TIA, MS or Gullain Barre are all possibilities. She just had a baby and is a nursing mom so some of the symptoms may have been brushed off as maternal exhaustion.

Her husband and I decided if se could just keep her drunk her speech would be fine :p

And all the tests came up negative so who know wtf it is.

Is it 2012 yet? I'm so ready for this year to be over.

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

Oldfart 12-30-2011 07:53 PM

We're nearly there, GG.

If you don't shut up and behave yourself, you're walking the rest of the way.
