I bought a new toy today. My first pistol. It's a S&W .357 magnum highway patrolman. It's a N frame, 3 inch barrel, wood grips.

Its hot and yukky!

My surgery has been changed to an earlier time through the day. 2:30pm (oz time) instead of 5pm. Pleased with that....i'll get out of hospital (providing all goes as planned) earlier too after recovery!

Had a great time yesterday visiting with family in Decatur. There were probably 40 or 50 of us there.

Maybe when it gets excited it'll stretch out to 6" or 6 1/2". :spin:

At least when it reaches it's climax it'll carry a good load and make a big splash.

I was guessing as to the length. It's a 4 inch barrel. As for hitting what I'm aiming at, I have a pretty good pattern at about 25 feet. Which is pretty standard for any handgun. I can do the same thing with my dad's Ruger that has a 2 inch barrel.

I'm home, all went well! No pain what so ever, but i think thats cause 1/2 my face is still extremely numb *L* Not allowed to eat anything i need to chew, as ingesting part of my tongue or cheek would not be good *L*

I might do that. It would be interesting to see the differences between my dad's 2" Ruger, my 4" S&W, and my dad's 8" Blackhawk.

Sounds like really good news. Glad to hear it went so well and we'll keep up the prayers that the discomfort won't be too great when the numbness wears off. :x:
