I heard that they didn't put him in the hospital but the "doing better" part was still sort of iffy. He told me to let you know that he didn't mean to worry you either. ;)

Worrying about all the illness and death around me. My daughter is majorly sick, an ex-girlfriend went into the hospital for gall bladder surgery the other day, my wife's boyfriend's grandmother died yesterday morning, there's a freind of the family whose grandmother is dying (and said freind is struggling majorly with the POA and end-of-life care issues), another friend of the family's mother is dying (and he may also be struggling with the same issues), my grilfriend is dealing with dental and knee issues that are running her out of money she doesn't have in the first place.

Right now I'm trying to thaw out a bit from shoveling snow. Probably wasn't the smartest thing for me to be doing today but what the hell. I doubt it's gonna melt anytime soon. :)

I'm just sitting here thinking how I would really like to just get into the car and drive for about 12 hours. After that amount of time I would take a break and try to decide what to do with the next hour or so. Would I keep going or would I turn back?

Well I was trying to go back to sleep cause it's my day off but the child called and forgot her gym shoes, so now I'm waiting for the car to warm up and then I figured while I was out I might as well get my errands done.

Just got back from taking the child to school, she missed the bus.
