I just love seeing all the pretty lacy leaves that the Japanese beetles create.

Peoria keeps trying to blow the day away with this huge fireworks display each year.

I wish I had more chores.

I was not impressed when they announced that this year, Peoria's fireworks display was the largest in the state (Chicago did not have theirs because of budget problems) and the largest ever outside of Chcicago.

Still no rain.

I hate walks in the park early in the morning when it's still half-way cool.
