Yesterday was a Tae Kwan Do tournament that Mayhem and my 9 y/o competed in. During the sparring part of the competition, participants get points awarded to them by connecting a strike or kick to a well padded midsection/side or head. Midsection is 1 point per strike/kick, and head shots are 2 points per strike/kick. Helpful/encouraging cheering is encouraged to the crowd. So we were cheering, and a young boy next to us was quite enthusiastic about his favorite participant getting the 2 point shots in.....







"C'mon, *girl's name*! Let's get some head!"

Also with yesterday's tournament, Mayhem broke a board with his left hand, 2 with his right hand, and 2 with his foot. He won 1st place in his section for board breaking, 1st in his section for TKD form, and 2nd in sparring. My 9 y/o got 2nd in her section for sparring and 2nd for TKD form. I am so very proud and pleased for them both, but most of all very happy that everyone had such a fun time! It was a fab day!

I smiled my sweet chocolate ass off today. I took my time shaving The Lady. It's nothing better than seeing a smile from those moist pouty lips. Smooth and when I say smooth I mean silk has nothing on her.

Waking up to a gorgeous day with only a few clouds in the sky, the sun bright, and the sound of motorcycles passing the house.

My wife's thyroid surgery going very well today. Looks like she'll be coming home tomorrow. She's already had jello, ice chips and water and was even able to take a tablet orally for discomfort this afternoon. For those that knew the surgery was going to happen, my deepest thanks for your good wishes and prayers. For those that didn't, I know what a loving "family" Pixies-Place is and so your constant good wishes for all in need are always appreciated. God bless you all!

Glad to hear it all went well DB. Better a pill a day for the rest of her life than complications due to a bad thyroid.

I reconnected with an old best friend via Facebook. Our friendship ended badly in our early 20s. However, it seems the tie was never fully severed for either of us, and she was glad to hear from me. Made my day.
