Here's one for PF.
An F16 fighter out of Hill Air Force Base had an emergency and had to ditch his external fuel tanks and a couple of bombs. The following was quoted on the 5KSL website. "Col. Scott J. Zobrist, commander of the 388th Fighter Wing at the base, says the pilot was experienced and followed proper procedures, "which involve jettisoning the stores in order for him to reduce ... his gross weight so he can land safely on the base." The pilot was able to land safely, and Zobrist says both fuel tanks, weighing about 300 gallons each, were found shortly thereafter. " |

The dragons we have around here (Gilbert's Dragon aka ta-tas) are mega skittish. The only way to successfully approach one is to run it over in the car.
