I was 1 of 100 teachers chosen from all who were nominated to go to summer camp for a week. All expenses paid.

I was chosen to learn at a special 1 week summer camp with leaders from several prestigious (national) Science and Math associations. I was chosen because of an essay I wrote about trying to catch the Lost Boys up regarding skills they are lacking and then trying to get them on par with regular kids in their same grades. It is sponsored by a company involved in energy.
