The good news is, the choice to not adopt any pet, or any species of pet, can be a reasonable and responsible choice.

The bad news is that so many "former pets" are just turned loose to fend for themselves.

The good news is, people are getting better about that.

The bad news is that our local "TAPS" organization still make regular stops at the entrance to our Walmart to try and collect money to help them support keeping abandoned or discarded pets without "killing them" after a short time. They always have one of the animals there with them, and they are adorable. You just wish someone loving would take them home.

Ug. I feel like if I post good news after that, I would be perceived as moking them. Dont' want to go there.

The bad news is I don't have any to report this morning. Too early I guess. :shrug:

The bad news is, the willful blindness of certain segments of the population WRTthe ongoing pandemic.

The good news for us, anyway, is that we still have our health, home, family and happiness. Can't ask for much more than that.

The bad news is, a lot of other people don't.

Good news … still got our health and our 57th wedding anniversary will be here in another 6 days. That's about as good as it gets.

Especially if I get down on the floor and then try to get up. :(
