I confess, I'm achy after all the yard work I did yesterday ... mowing the lawn and cleaning up all the leaves and disposing of them. Whew! I may have to retire.

I confess, after a year, I've finally hung the window topper in the hallway. Much to my amazement the topper I had picked as a nice neutral almost identically matches the hall paint that I picked on a completely seperate occassion.

i confess there is a speech therapist coming here today to do my job for me because i have been unable to do it. i also confess that i have mixed feelings about it; on one hand, i am happy to have the help and excited to see the results and learn new tricks. i know my son will enjoy it and anything i can do to help ease his frustration, i’ll do. but on the other hand, i feel inadequate and lacking as a mom and mentor that i need the help in the first place. i should be able to fix this on my own.
