I understand that the Bay Area Rapid Transit system has been so successful that there are plans afoot to develop one for the Fresno area. Is that just a rumor?

Jseal -- I hear it's possible. They call it FAST (Fresno Area Sky Train)

However, I am not sure that all the $$ has been raised for the undertaking.

IMO, I'd like to see BART operate trains throughout the night. They don't run between 12:30 am and 5 am at all. Occasionally (when socializing in the city on weekends) that has put us in a bind
