I have done that but think that in the future I would wait for them to ask me for the help. When I did help before, I gave them the $$$ as a birthday gift and I sort of felt like I may have embarrassed my friend by doing so.

I might depending on the type of pet and how long they wanted it watched.

There was a time when they wouldn't even have had to ask but nowadays my health would probably keep me from it. I'd find some other way to help them out though.

I've done that, although I'm not sure I ever got what I thought was a real satisfactory response. Most of the responses tend to be pretty ambiguous. Like they agree with you, but, have so many things to consider, they may have to vote the other way. :rolleyes2

Yep, but I'd probably try to find it a good home instead of keeping it myself right now.

Might depend on whether it looked like it would do something I want done. But, just to try it ... probably not.

Tough one. If it had fish or mayo in it then probably not. I'd say there would be less than a 50% chance of me trying something I was pretty sure I wouldn't like.

I don't actually remember having done that, although we've taken our kids when they were small on unexpected trips and waited for them to get looked at.

Yes, I've done that before, most notably when moving from Kentucky to California and then back again.

Mmmm, probably not. About as close to an impulse buy I would get with something like that would be if my computer went down and I just ran out and bought a replacement the same day. More out of necessity than impulse.

Yes considering I work for the the school system down here and I am there almost on a daily basis.

I don't think I ever have, but there have been times I've thought about ... so, since the question was "would you," I suppose the answer would be, "yes."

Occasionally I'll do that but with all the channels and methods to record shows nowadays it doesn't happen as often as when there were just three channels and no VCR/Tivo.

Probably not. Now, if we're gone, I don't really miss TV ... but, I tend to use it as background noise at home and would probably flick it on without thinking about it.
