Talking with one of my best friends today and learning that he gave his girlfriend a diamond for Christmas. Pretty large step from last year when he gave her cash in lieu of gift cards. :rofl:

Cash it may not be romantic but at least they don't return it and it's the right size most of the time.

The absolute joy in my oldest niece's voice when she told me that she got her first car for Christmas this year. :)

Francis the Cat on ESPN. Francis has been picking the winners of the college football bowl games and has done rather well so far. Today, he picked the winner of tonight's championship game between Ohio State and Louisana State. Francis went against his own species and took Ohio State to win. :p
